Our Services
Service Users who we support through our Supported Living service all live in their own home – we provide support to them in order to promote their independence. The support we provide is regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Our first Supported Living service opened in 2009.
In line with our philosophy of Supported Living, support is provided through person-centred approaches and planning, with the involvement of the service user themselves. All services and support is tailored to each person’s needs and is comprehensive in nature dealing with all major aspects of a person’s life, including social, educational, behavioural, psychological, financial, recreational and leisure. Each service user is supported with a unique staffing level that is based on their needs.
Each service user has their own comprehensive Support Plan, Risk Assessment, Health Action Plan and Person-Centred Plan. These documents are all unique to the individual.
The emphasis is on service user empowerment and participation, within the service and in the wider social context, supporting service users to take on their rightful role as active citizens in their own community. We also know that people’s tastes and preferences will alter over time, so Care Opportunities philosophy supports every person to whom we provide our service.

“One of the best services I have seen… it’s good to see a service not only provide good quality care for people but also getting their paperwork right”
