Our Care Home, The Conifers, is located on the outskirts of Basingstoke within a short walking distance of shops and the local pub. It is on the bus route for the town centre and for larger out of town stores such as supermarkets and DIY stores. Town centre facilities are wide ranging and extensive and include a modern shopping centre, restaurants, cinemas, theatres, leisure centres, gyms, swimming pools, ice rink, bowling alleys, library, churches and colleges.
The Conifers is a detached home with six bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities which is staffed on a 24-hour basis. It is spacious and light with plenty of communal space, including a large kitchen-diner, sitting room, sensory room, laundry room and a large recreation/games room on the ground floor. It boasts a good-sized secluded garden and extensive off road parking, being well set back from the road.
Whilst all bedrooms are provided with a bed, table, chest of drawers, wardrobe and comfortable chairs, service users are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their own furniture, pictures, music equipment, etc. if they so wish.
